Review by hotel critic
Nestled discreetly, the Saltbush presents an unexpected blend of affordability and comfort. During a recent stay, I was pleasantly surprised by their value proposition. The culinary delights offered in their restaurant—think a 250g steak for a mere $18—make dining here a delightful affair. With fresh and locally sourced salads, and a chef committed to perfecting medium rare, this spot is an undiscovered gem. The rooms are recently renovated, spacious, and equipped with modern conveniences like an electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and a comfortable sitting area—making it easy to unwind. The air conditioning offered relief from the sweltering 40-degree heat, and I particularly appreciated the pool, perfect for cooling off. the property’s cleanliness stands out, reflecting diligent housekeeping. The proximity to dining options made it convenient, and even our three-year-old savored the laid-back atmosphere. Yes, it may be one of the pricier choices in town, but the premium is reflected in the overall experience and comfort. Choosing the Saltbush is undoubtedly wise for those seeking both luxury and value.
